Bishops Itchington Carnival 3rd July 2010http://bishopscarnival.org/carnival.htm
It’s a great day out for all the family, people of all ages come to watch the fantastic parade of home-made
floats as it weaves it’s way through the village. Each Carnival has it’s own theme and in 2010 this will be
“TV Shows” which as usual, will be imagineatively and often hilariously reflected in the parade. After the
Parade, people spend the afternoon in Bishops Itchington where there is a traditional Country Fayre with
scores of stalls and attractions. Images from past Carnivals are visible throughout this website and on
our Facebook group.
Bishops Carnival and it’s supporting events are planned, organised and delivered by the Carnival
Committee, made up of local people from Bishops Itchington The Committee works in partnership with
other local groups and organises other fundraising events between Carnivals. After expenses and a small
amount set aside for next year all profits go to local good causes and a nominated charity.
