Formula Renault UK regular Jordan King will join the FIA Formula Two Championship to race in the next three rounds of the season.
At just 17, the Briton will become the youngest ever driver to race in the series since its relaunch in 2009. He will join the F2 field for official testing at Snetterton next Tuesday (7th June), before competing in the rounds at Spa-Francorchamps, the Nurburgring and Brands Hatch.
After a successful karting career King, from Harbury in Leamington Spa, made an impressive car racing debut in Formula Palmer Audi at Silverstone at the end of 2010, qualifying on pole position and scoring a podium finish. For 2011 he has been racing in Formula Renault UK, currently lying seventh in the overall standings and second in the Graduate Cup. He will continue his Formula Renault campaign in addition to his F2 programme.
